Ann
Meet Ann Njeri Wacuka!
Ann’s mother committed suicide and she and her four siblings were left in the care of their grandparents. Their grandfather is very sickly and unable to work. Their grandmother works as a grocer but is unable to earn enough to care for five children in addition to her ailing husband. At Tumaini, the children can attend school without fear of being sent home for lack of fees.
