Meet Anne Nyambura Mburu!
Anne and her two siblings were abandoned by their mother and their father was unable to care for them. They lived with their elderly grandfather but he was also not reliable. The children often went to bed hungry and had lice and jiggers. A good Samaritan noticed them looking for food and took them to the children’s office. Anne and her siblings were brought to Strong Tower where they were able to get medical care and nutritious meals. Anne is happy to have a caring family and the opportunity to go to school.
