David was born to a single mother in the slums of Mukuru. She was unable to meet the needs of her children or send them to school. David’s three siblings dropped out of school, his two sisters due to early pregnancies, and his brother lives on the streets. David is happy to be at GOA where he can go to school and have the opportunity for a better life.
