Meet Jane Wanjiru Mburu!

Jane is the middle child and has an older brother and a younger sister. She and her two siblings were abandoned by their mother and their father was unable to care for them. They lived with their elderly grandfather but he was also not reliable. The children often went to bed hungry and had lice and jiggers. A good Samaritan noticed them looking for food and took them to the children’s office. Jane and her siblings were brought to Strong Tower where they were able to get medical care and nutritious meals. She is happy to have a caring family and the opportunity to go to school.
