Meet Jillian Njeri!
Jillian is the firstborn of six children. Her father works in construction and her mother is a casual laborer who looks for domestic work. The family’s pastor referred them to Tumaini as they were having trouble making ends meet. Jillian was admitted in 2014 and is very happy to be at Tumaini where she is getting an education, regular meals, and a safe place to sleep. Her favorite subject is science and she hopes to become a geologist someday. In her free time, Jillian enjoys running.
