Meet John Sila Mureithi!
John and his brother Kevin come from a single mother who ran away from home long ago. Her whereabouts are unknown. John and Kevin were left under the care of their aged grandfather, Joseph Gacoki Kagunda, who is a widower with no permanent source of income. A Pastor from Joska found them loitering and begging in the streets. She took them under her custody and assumed a guardian role in April 2009. She referred the case to the Chief of Joska who referred them to CCRC through the District Children’s Officer.
