John
Meet John Waithanji Wanjiru!
John was born in a family of six with five boys and one girl. He was left with his mother after his father died. His mother later abandoned him and he had nowhere else to go. He was trying to earn his living by collecting and selling scrap metals on the streets. Whenever he wasn’t able to sell anything, he was unable to buy food to eat. A teacher from Ndunyu Njeru met him collecting scrap metals one day, she knew almost nothing about him except that he used to be one of her students. She decided to bring him to Rhema. He is a good and obedient boy. John likes reading and writing. His ambition is to go be a police officer.
