Meet Lucy Waithera Mwangi!
Lucy was born into a family of seven children; she is the youngest. Both of her parents died under tragic circumstances. Lucy took on many adult responsibilities within the home, including cooking and caring for her sick mother. After her mother died, she was separated from her siblings and taken to an aunt who did not send her to school. This was reported and she was admitted to Tumaini Children’s Home. Her greatest desire is to become a nurse in the future.
