Meet Mary Njoki Wanjiru!
Mary is the youngest in her family. Her family was affected by political violence that caused them a lot of struggle and pain as Internally displaced persons (I.D.P.s). They later went to a village called Mutonyora where Mary started going to different places borrowing food since her sick mother could not feed or take her to school. She was brought to Strong Tower by a Good Samaritan who found Mary. She is a very organized girl and is extremely focused. She loves learning and wants to be a nurse.
