Meet Mary Wanjiku Njambi!
Mary is the fourth born in a family of eight children. Her mother is HIV positive and mentally ill. She was not dependable and often failed to give her children their medication. Her grandmother helped rescue her and have her placed at Beat the Drum. Mary enjoys jumping rope and one day she hopes to become a teacher.
