Meet Priscilla Nyamaemba Wangira!
Priscilla comes from a background of poverty and neglect. Her father abandoned the family, leaving the mother struggling to provide for their four children. Priscilla had not been in school since 2021 due to lack of school fees. The local hospital asked Beat the Drum to make room for her in Spring 2023 because she was in need of food, medical care, and education. She is already starting to feel at home in the nurturing environment of Beat the Drum.
