Meet Simon Kariuki Waithira!
Simon’s mother attended a GOA church and was often sick and in the hospital. She would leave Simon with neighbors. Eventually, he was admitted to Beat the Drum because his mother was not physically able to care for him. Simon is happy and gets along well with the other students. He enjoys playing football (soccer) and he hopes to become a bank manager someday.
