Meet Simon Kyalo Kiio!
Simon, and his brother Wycliff, were frequently left alone for long periods without food or money. Their mother battles various addictions and, as a result, was not caring properly for her children. The neighbors broke into the home after the mother had been missing for a day and a half to find the boys alone. They reported the situation and the area administrator brought the boys to CCRC where they will be cared for, loved, and have the opportunity to go to school. Simon hopes to have his own farm someday.
